Es erwartet einen Textinput und generiert daraus eine Vorschau, auf welcher der User die einzelnen Elemente beliebig mit Hilfe der Maus manipulieren kann. Jeder, der schon einmal eine Präsentation mit LaTeX Beamer erstellt hat, kennt das Problem: Man möchte ein Bild ein wenig verschieben oder einen Pfeil an einer ganz bestimmten Stelle einfügen, allerdings ist das nicht so ganz einfach möglich. So bin ich auf die Idee gekommen eine Desktop Anwendung zum Erstellen von Präsentationen zu entwickeln, die ein Textinput ähnlich wie LaTeX erwartet und aus diesem dann eine Vorschau generiert. Auf dieser Vorschau können die Elemente (Bilder, Texte, Pfeile) dann mit Hilfe der Maus beliebig verschoben, skaliert und rotiert werden. Dafür habe ich C++ mit dem Qt-Framework, dem KTextEditor-Modul und Antlr4 verwendet. In dem Vortrag werde ich die Anwendung kurz vorstellen und zeigen was sie alles kann und danach ein wenig erzählen, wie ich dies technisch umgesetzt habe. This solution was not analyzed before, and the strong security claims were not assessed to match the reality. This presentation gives background details of the analysis and the context which brought us to perform the analysis. The method for reverse engineering and inspecting the DataVault solution will be presented. It turned out that the key derivation function was PBKDF2 using 1000 iteration of MD5 to derive the encryption key. The salt used to derive the keys is constant and hardcoded in all the solutions and all the vendors. This makes it easier for an attacker to guess the user password of a vault using time/memory tradeoff attack techniques such as rainbow tables and to re-use the tables to retrieve passwords for all users using the software. Die Idee lässt sich auf Community-Mesh-Netze übertragen. Auf Basis von OpenFlow und OpenVSwitch kann Packet-Forwarding im Netz frei Programmiert werden.
